Touhou 1

Touhou 1: Highly Responsive to Prayers is the first game in the Touhou Project series, released in 1996 for the PC-98 by Amusement Makers. Unlike later entries, it's a hybrid of action and block-breaking gameplay where Reimu Hakurei uses a yin-yang orb to defeat enemies and bosses. The game laid the groundwork for the series' setting and characters, introducing the Hakurei Shrine and its maiden as central elements of Gensokyo's world.
